چکیده
Abstract In the present study, high surface area boehmite nanopowder was recovered from aluminum cans waste. The sodium aluminate solution first prepared by dissolving in NaOH and then, H 2 O added to precipitate boehmite. characterized means of X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) N adsorption–desorption techniques. thermal stability sample investigated using thermogravimetry (TG) differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) feasibility powder as a new low-cost adsorbent for treatment oilfield produced water investigated. For comparison, commercial activated carbon used under same conditions. efficiency both determined monitoring values number pollution indicators [i.e. turbidity, sulfides, sulfates, total organic (TOC), petroleum hydrocarbon (TPH), chemical oxygen demand (COD)] before after treatment. showed very good water, which is close that effect dose, time, pH media on adsorption examined at room temperature indicator. maximum capacity COD reduction 69.6% 83.5% 40 g/l dosage, pH7, 24-h contact time. متن کاملPreparation of Nanohybrid CuO-Fe3O4 /Zeolite Nanocomposite as Potential Adsorbent for Toxic As (V) and Pb(II) from Water Solution.
ABSTRACT In this paper, novel Nanohybrid CuO-Fe3O4/Zeolite nanocomposites (HCFZ NCs) have been synthesized to improve the adsorption capacity and activity for removing the Arsenic and Lead cations from the contaminated water solutions. The nanohybrid 4, 10, and 20 -HCFZ NC samples were investigated by XRD, FT-IR, TEM, FESEM, EDX, and BET. The characterization results of these catalysts confirm...
متن کاملAgricultural waste material as potential adsorbent for sequestering heavy metal ions from aqueous solutions - a review.
Heavy metal remediation of aqueous streams is of special concern due to recalcitrant and persistency of heavy metals in environment. Conventional treatment technologies for the removal of these toxic heavy metals are not economical and further generate huge quantity of toxic chemical sludge. Biosorption is emerging as a potential alternative to the existing conventional technologies for the rem...
متن کاملGreenhouse gas emissions from oilfield-produced water in Shengli Oilfield, Eastern China.
Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from oil and gas systems are an important component of the GHG emission inventory. To assess the carbon emissions from oilfield-produced water under atmospheric conditions correctly, in situ detection and simulation experiments were developed to study the natural release of GHG into the atmosphere in the Shengli Oilfield, the second largest oilfield in China. The ...
